* New 2007 Thundermax Cams by Red Shift

Thundermax Cams by Red Shift are ground from 1- piece 8620 Steel billets. Red Shift Cams provide smooth, linear power with great valve Train Dynamics. The Stroked crankshaft in the 2007 up models changes the dynamics from earlier model TC 88 Engines making correct Cam choice crucial to avoid engine damaging detonation. Harley Davidson's redesigned chain drive system eliminates the need for gear drive Cams in 07 up Models The 575-HS is ideally suited as a bolt in Cam with stock Heads increasing torque and Horsepower across the board, (adjustable Pushrods required)

 

* Mikuni HSR42 / HSR45 / HSR48 carburetors

Mikuni's HSR42, HSR45 and HSR48 carburetors are the finest motorcycle carburetors made today. They give superb throttle response and deliver all the air flow needed for any level of Harley performance

* Twin Cam Performance

The simple addition of an HSR42 "Easy Kit" together with high flow air cleaner and exhaust modifications can increase power by 25%. Here is a typical result:

  • 72.2 Horsepower
  • 80.7 ft./lbs Torque



The Easy Kit dramatically improves the power of the H-D Twin Cam engine and delivers unmatched throttle response and acceleration! Maximum horsepower is typically increased from 58-60 to 72-75 HP, and Max torque from 71-73 to 81-85 ft/lbs. This example "before and after" power increase was produced with the combination of the Mikuni HSR42, a Screamin' Eagle Air Filter and a set of (loud) Screamin' Eagle mufflers.

107cui Engine Package

The Most Powerful 107 Kit You Can Buy! We’ve taken our very popular big bore/stock stroke Twin Cam® kit and added our legendary Magnum head to it. A stock stroke/big bore engine, by nature, likes to rev. The Magnum head lets this engine really breathe! Masterfully CNC machined from solid billet, these heads are not only beautiful to look at, they allow us to design port shapes for maximum flow without the limitations of a casting. Valves are 2.100” intake/1.715” exhaust; both ports are raised to the maximum workable height to fit within the confines of conventional engine design.
But specially designed heads alone won’t do it, more special parts are required at this level of performance. Our magnum rocker boxes have adequate clearance for larger diameter valve springs and tipped valve angles that these big valves dictate. Rocker geometry is corrected with the use of rocker spacers and Baisley Pro Geometry 1.75:1 rocker arms.

Our 4-1/8” big bore cylinders are fitted with specially designed forged pistons with CNC machined decks to perfectly match the tight quench combustion chambers in the Magnum head. These pistons actually weigh slightly less than the factory 88” piston, so the factory crankshaft can be used without rebalancing!

Red Shift gear drive cams are included, as well as a specially machined, oversize oval port intake manifold with flanges. Custom oversize exhaust pipes will need to be fabricated; exhaust flanges are provided. Choose between two compression ratio/cam combinations: 10.8:1 pistons with Red Shift 647 cams or 13.5:1 pistons with Red Shift 729 cams.
